When taking watch photos do you set it to 10:10?

Setting a watch to 10:10 is the best for photos.

I agree that watches tend to look best at either 10:10 or 1:50, but I usually just use whatever the current time is.

They are best for advertising photos so you can't miss the logo,but otherwise who cares? Anytime works.

Yes there’s an article about it that said that setting the watch at 10:10 on advertising sold more watches. Something about it looking like a smiley face.

Nope. Just whatever the time is. I should possibly have done something about the hands here, but it's still one of my favourite shots.
