There was a post here the other day regarding this, but I figured y’all should hear it from me as I’ve also received some DMs about it.

Glad you like the specs! You can see a bit of the teaser on looks here. We are taking you through the whole design process of this watch through our YT channel. Our customers often ask how watches designed so we thought it would be fun to share through a weekly series!

Adding this to my watch list... sorry for the pun...

I will be anxiously awaiting the reveal of the actual design

Specs sound good and watch sounds interesting. Proof of the pudding will be in what it looks like and affordability?

NB

Looking good in teaser!

Love the idea, but how do you design it in a manner that actually stands out from other Pepsi clones? Seems many brands are seeing the same specs from enthusiasts and trying to give them what they want, vs. what they do not know they want yet? Yes, it is a business, totally get playing it safe with a classic style, but running down that list it seems it checks all the stereotypical checkboxes we want to nerd out about.

I can't wait to see the product, but hoping there is something original about the design, especially given recent Pepsi releases from the likes of Monta, Zodiac, etc. If this is meant to be a more affordable option who do not have or want to spend that level of money, awesome. Have at it, nothing wrong with democratizing GMTs, but again, would love to see something original

I appreciate this comment a lot. The business minded side of me definitely requires a bit of “safe” play and on the flip side, the creative side of me wants to do things out of left field. It’s always an ongoing battle to figure out the right balance between the two.

The red and blue colors of Pepsi is no doubt an iconic look by Rolex and it always appears as if brands create clones of this. We will definitely have a red/blue hue as a variant, but also hope to be able to launch with other color variants as well. As far as originality in form and finish,  everything we create is authentic with investments into tooling up all those custom components. Hope to put together a package that gets you excited! cheers

@JBird7986 @MegaBob @Guvnor64 @garythegreat @StanleyFookinShelby @AllTheWatches @Saree1968 Hey peeps! Thought I would dig this back up as I remember some comments in here asking about the looks it the watch. Well today, we decided to unveil the design of it in concept form. We are still under development with prototypes, but many people have been asking so I figured, why not. Without further ado...

Wow... Now THIS is exciting! I like the name - but more importantly though, the design. There's two things I really like about this...

First, I love the overall balance of soft edges and hard edges. The indices on the dial have more of an aggressive look with their rectangular shape, but the case itself has a nice curve to it. I love that they seem to balance each other out.

Second, the subtle variation on the classic pepsi colors with that dull red and blue are a nice touch of sophistication. I'm not that flashy of a guy... so I like that it's not something super bright.

Thanks for sharing. I'm definitely going to keeping an eye out for this one.

Yes very impressive!

It's looking great in rhe Pepsi colours. I will be interested in what other colours and combinations you are planning?

very nice. The execution of the dial with the dimensions you were targeting are spot on.  Good call with the blue vs the traditional black or white.

Thanks! I'm glad you picked up on the dull red and blue. While the Pepsi will always be an icon forever, we decided to dull the colors to appear more like an aged flag. It felt appropriate to get it closer to flag colors as we bring assembly to the US.

Thank you. Yes we are going through some color studies as well. The plan will be to launch with up to 3 color variants. This is the most fun and difficult part. The colorways are endless!

Appreciate it. I'm personally hyper OCD about proportion and composition when it comes to dial layout and it's relation to the bezel and case. Negative space between case wall and tracking, tracking in relation to indices, indices in relation to hands, the list goes on forever haha. It never gets old though! You just can't go wrong with a well executed blue sunray dial. I'm exploring in both a high gloss finish and and more satin finish.

Really liking this design, similar case shape to my new Seiko SPB317 Slim Turtle.

My comments would be I'd love to see a black gloss dial as opposed to blue as I think the current amount of blue is too much.

Second observation would be that the minute hand is maybe a tad too thin and not long enough. This is personal preference as I always prefer the minute hand to touch the minute markings.

Overall I'm looking forward to see how this progresses, well done @TimeToDesign 👏

Thanks for the feedback and kind words. We are in development of several different dial finishes so that when we receive prototypes we can swap out parts and see what looks the best for the overall design. Finishing is a tricky thing! I personally love glossy dials, but I'm curious to see how it reacts with the boxed crystal, faceted indices, etc. Sometimes there is too much light refraction and you need a quieter surface to absorb some light. Of course, this is all in theory and we will have to wait and see, but that's the fun of it.
