I can't quite bring myself to buy homages. Quietly, I AM judging. But I'm also a bit jealous. 😀❤👍
I’m the rare breed that went from multi millionaire with Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Tag, Mont Blanc to nothing, couldn’t afford a McDonalds cheeseburger much less an expensive watch. Freak accident few years ago, pronounced dead, Power of Attorney you can guess the rest. So I know the value of a dollar, sure you’d rather have a Rolex Explorer on your wrist but many don’t have that option. If you’d told me 3 years ago, “Matt you will be wearing a Pagani Design instead of that Breitling Avenger one day soon” I’d have told you I wouldn’t let a Pagani near my wrist. But you’d be right and me wrong. Be a realist, I don’t have a horse in the race but what you can get for under $100 is mind boggling. I don’t hate you, you are a smart and realistic man. Enjoy!

I was there with you.. then said "eh, it can't hurt to check it out" It is sharp man.. these companies are doing something right. The bracelet on these are worth the $65 alone IMHO. The movement is my only concern on this one, how long it will last etc., it's a Dixmont-GuanGzhou movement, not very good, but man it is sharp looking. They make some quartz models that are homages as well that are solid. I have gone over to the dark side..

I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and now I don’t know if I’ll be able to buy a Rolex. It’s a big liability with servicing and all. An homage watch is a 90-99% smaller liability. If you enjoy it the same, you’ve made a “wiser” purchase.

Judge you? Naaah. There are some lovely GMT watches to be had on AliExpress. I picked up this unbranded Tandorio, with an NH34 movement, for a paltry 63€. And I'm in the EU, so that includes 21% VAT and shipping. I couldn't be happier. I also have several Paganis and I think they are a lot of bang for your buck. Enjoy your watch!
