My New Favorite Watch
First, Happy Easter everyone. I hope everyone got some quality family time and a good meal.
Being that it’s Easter it feels right to introduce my new watch. Please welcome the Third Watch Intercessor!!!
The specs are listed on my site so here, I’m going to discuss the inspiration and what I was after.
I wanted something Explorer like, with big bold features on the dial. I wanted a date feature, and I wanted the legibility of a Sinn with the big sword hands. And of course …. Tons of lume!
I wanted a vintage feel, which you get with a 35.5mm case and acrylic, yes, acrylic crystal. I wanted reliable and affordable so of course it’s powered by nh35.
I’m hand assembling these, regulating them right here in Muskegon Michigan. Everything except the case engraving which I’m having done by a local independent shop.
I can’t wait to hear everyone’s opinions.
