NWA: Mido Ocean Star Decompression World Timer
Taking a pause for a few minutes from the watch I've been wearing for the past week to show off my latest acquisition, the Mido Ocean Star Decompression World Timer.
Technically, this is the second watch I've bought in 2024, but the watch I bought before this still hasn't been delivered to me.
Is the dial crowded and ridiculously busy? Yes!
Can I tell what time it is?
Not easily!
Do I love it?
Absolutely!
I wanted this watch specifically for its unique look and it doesn't disappoint at all. Maybe my new favorite in my collection.

Love it! Truly unusual and original looking.
Mido are so underrated. Value for money is incredible.
I do like the mad colourfulness of this dial. One to wear on a Sunday or on holiday when you really don't care what time it is 😎

You can also go after the Vulcain decompressors as well.
CW also did a decompressor.
Now I just have to get me a vintage Mido...missed one in an auction last year...

I have the first Oceanstar GMT with ‘Dink—these busy dialed worldtimer ones aren’t for me, but they are very pretty! All the color makes me think of coral.

I have no idea why they haven’t sold out a long time ago. It’s a banger of a deal on a great little watch. I have several wrist shots of it on my WRUW album here.
Love the crazy retro dial on these along with the funky colour scheme they are the perfect summer watch, who cares if they are a pain in the arse to read the time on 😜
