Watches that commemorates special days/goals

So, I wondered what kind of watches people buy/are gifted after they hit a goal in their life which they have been chasing for years or are gifted to commemorate/celebrate something special. I am sure many of you have some cool stories for your watches.

I bought myself an Orient Star watch after I graduated, which I can always look back at and hopefully keep wearing it on my wrist for years.

Congratulations on graduating Oskar! It's a beautiful watch I've been impressed by a lot of the Orient Star watches.

Congrats on the milestone - you have a great watch in the Orient Star. Great brand - and very distinctive to have on your wrist as a discussion piece and reminder of your achievement. Wear it in good health!

Congratulations on graduating. I bought this Cyma to celebrate resisting buying a watch for a month.

I also commemorated my neighbour's goldfish's birthday by buying myself this Camy.

I treated myself with my Sinn after I completed my apprenticeship.

Congrats on your graduation! When I moved away from home and started to live on my own for the first time, I bought myself an Oris Wings of Hope to celebrate the W! Now I wear it on weekends and when I go on dates, for good luck! For me, it stands for ellegance, simplicity and independency!

I'm trying to think. The only one that comes to mind is a Brietling Chronomat Evolution, white dial gold Roman numbers, which was my "reward" for being clean of tobaco/cigarettes after smoking for decades. A long time ago now and still "clean", btw. I suppose you would say my 30th Anniversary present, a Hulk (back when you could buy them out of the case), was gifted.

Congrats!

From my wife for job promotion two years back.

Good choice. Orient Star is super underrated. They make some bangin watches.
