I love Good Eats, but that's funny because he did an interview about watch collecting where he specifically got snotty about people only wearing automatic watches.
I like him. It'll be interesting to see what the watch looks like.

Very interesting personality. Caught a video in which he talks about tracking down his dad’s stolen Omega watch and having it restored. I used to watch his programs on the Food Network but his cooking was more science than just getting into a kitchen to cook.
Grew up watching Alton, always seemed like a cool guy. I was a bit turned off by that Hodinkee interview where he wholesale belittled people who wear quartz movements though. It’ll be funny if this collab isn’t an automatic (which, knowing Brew, it’s probably mecha-quartz) talk about awkwarrrrrddd 😬😄

He had a very popular kind of geeky cooking show on food Network for a long time. Kind of like Mr. Wizard meets Monty Python in the kitchen kind of thing.
This is long before Guy Ferrari took over the channel.
Used to like Alton Brown but out grew him… Not sure he warrants a collab but heck … someone had some infielnce on something … meh…
