Ventura GGT Event 1
The event this evening @ Fluid State in Ventura was fantastic! The geeking was superb as was the food and drink! The weather didn't completely cooperate, but that didn't matter. We had a wonderful evening.
Tomorrow is supposed to be fantastic weather for the two scheduled events. Stay tuned for more updates!

Tell me, about how far do people travel for such a meet up? The reason I ask is that I live in metro Atlanta and when I posed the question of a meet up in the area, one was some 50 miles on the other side of town and the other guy was some 30 hence why I ask.

One person drove all the way from near Downtown LA (about 66 miles away).

We had people coming from LA, about 75 miles away!
When I first say your post about this gathering I was thinking of taking a few days and driving down from YVR to participate ... my wife laughed and rolled eyes when I mentioned the scheme. It meant 'nope' 😂

It could be an easy flight into Santa Barbara about 25 miles away.
