That’s what I‘m thinking. A watch I can get wet or dirty with no ill affects and a dress watch. I live the Reverso because the strap makes it less dressy but it’s still a watch for a dressier situation. I won’t bring a full on dress watch for this trip. Thsnks
Thanks that makes sense. I wear my sub as my everyday watch. I know that may sound elitist but I wear my watches for fun, not really as investments. A sub can go from the gym to the pool to a nice dinner. (Ugh, I’m afraid I’m sounding arrogant) I was considering my Reverso or Gondolo as a second watch, for dinners out. I think NorCal is pretty affluent, so I think these watches won’t be out of place. I do have them all well insured, so, theft would be very upsetting, but, I’m covered for cost.
