Never thought I would like the Omega Speedmaster but took the chance and purchased the 3861 online. Realise now it was a purchase I should’ve made years ago.

I always thought it would wear too big based on the dimensions, but it doesn't ! Picked one up after trying one on in person years ago. Just be careful to not sell it, because you might end up buying it again.

While the history and story are definitely a large part of the appeal, I didn't feel compelled to open up my own wallet until the coaxial 3861 with hacking became available. I picked mine up as a spur of the movement decision when visiting the AD, and am very glad I did - it's an awesome modern take on the classic.

Yeah, took me a while to realise this.

If I’m being honest I was getting confused on so many models so decided to buy new with most discount on offer. Glad I did.
