What should citizen cost

Citizen are a brand I see a lot and that have a few watches I like (the ones that aren't 43+mm) but their MSRP seems a bit steep for what they are, how far out is their MSRP in general on their products, or would people here be willing to pay the prices citizen ask and I'm just being a bit tight?

They are like most mainstream brands, they can be had for under retail if you wait for sales, or talk to the AD.

In my slightly biased opinion they are better than Seiko, as they have none of the QC issues Seiko has, and also make a thin high beat movement for under $3K...

Citizen have great watches, add one without doubt. I have several.

I'd love to add one but I am very cautious about the size, I have a slim wrist and their offerings below 43mm is a bit lacking, especially in their ranges that interest me most, atomic clock, titanium, and red arrows.

Yeah I'd get one on sale. Super solid watches. I got a cool citizen at a thrift store for 80 bucks! Of course my other citizen is a big crazy pro master, but I got that one on sale and it's a cool watch

I don’t have a lot to say about Citizen, I only own one. In general, I think it’s a mixed bag like with all watch companies. Some of their watches seem like crazy values, some are way too big, and some seem way too expensive. As for the one I’ve got, you can read my thoughts here:

I've got a 37mm citizen watch and it is excellent, especially for the price. The Chandler used to be easily found at a big chain below RRP in the UK

But would love a better specced citizen, but as you say, everything is too big! There are some more appropriately sized JDM models, but they are very expensive (although very nice).

I have a 44mm and a 45mm and they're both just a touch too big, although both are wearable, I prefer 36-40mm watches, and probably could just about manage 43mm with shortish lugs, anything bigger and it all depends watch to watch.
