Rado

Is anyone buying new Rado watches? I don’t hear too much about them, I bought this new high tech ceramic early 2022, thought it was beautiful if not a bit too big. What do you think, under 3k USD for full ceramic case and bracelet.

Hey a Capt Cook, nice!

·

Very nice. It's on my list...

Captain Cook is a nice watch. The inverted slope of the bezel makes the bezel to dial proportion a little off to me though.

·

Awesome. I became a sucker for Rado watches.

I resently got my True Square Plasma High Tech Ceramic

The Captain Cook High Tech Ceramic is on my short list for divers.

It's a great watch!! Better than I expected when I bought it.

It get more compliments from random people than any of my other watches. That shiny perfect looking ceramic I guess.

Mine keeps super accurate time ( averages 3 sec a day) has a great crown feel, 80 hour power reserve, is unscratchable and all the other perks of ceramic. The dial is tinited sapphire dial gives a slight skeleton view but it still has that incredible diver legibility.

Really striking that Rado can do full ceramic for the price it does. And why other swiss brands charge 3x this amount for just a ceramic case.

Anyway, despite it being an awesome watch - I'm selling mine 🤪..when I wear watches without a date it always annoys me and it's slightly big for my 6 inch twig like wrist (though being light it actually is very comfy). I've also go a self imposed rule that I must sell one to buy one (this is partly a financial requirement with wifey!)

captain cook 😍

I want to add diver to my collection and it would be an easy choice for Captain Cook, but too big for my slim wrist. So I save up for Zodiac Super Sea Wolf

Yes, I recently bought a special edition DiaStar

You are dead right about being accurate, I was surprised! The only let down for me is the lack of micro adjustment, for the cost it should have some way to get a good fit. It just happens to fit me perfectly with 2 links out so I went for it.
