Why? Do you think the leather will explode, when it touches Water? 😂 Good Leather can take more water than you think. Just imagine a leather jacket for riding a motorbike... Rinse of saltwater right after swimming and use a good leather balm from time to time.
Thanks Michel, I can’t argue as I have no idea, just assumed that as I’ve never seen a diver sold on leather, it was not the done thing. Luckily I don’t go diving so I should be good 😎
