First watch

I walked into a store in Cambridge UK around 11 years ago knowing nothing about watches and looking to spend my money on a Armani watch, the guy sold me my first Longines on a bracket, ok it is a quartz but it got me hooked on watches. It’s still one of my go to watches now, and after all this time I’m only just learning that a new strap can do wonders for an old watch.

I've had my mechanical equivalent on my wrist for 20 years.. running like a champ at +1 getting with me in the ocean, pools, all over.

You walked in and were aiming at an armani watch, and you walked out with a longines watch?

That salesperson did you a great service! Let's face it 11 years later, that armani watch won't be on your wrist today

I no longer live in the UK and I’m not sure if the shop is still there or not, but yes, that guy did me a big favour that day. That Quartz Longines watch will always be the best one of my collection.

Well unless you buy a new longines or something else that is, come on, take a look at that green zulu time! It's incredible! (if you can ignore those GTA stars that is lol)

I really want a GMT to add to my collection. The Longines looks awesome but the Tudor BB Pro is in my price range…

You do realize that BB pro isn't a true GMT right? The bezel doesn't rotate

That’s a lovely watch and I second @Lord_Dappingtonshire

Had same dilema. Tried both, went with BB Pro. Nevertheless, Longines is a great option too so would reccomend to get the one that design speaks to you more.
