I too refer to Sundays as “Seiko Sunday”. As my watch collection grows, the Seiko group tends to get neglected. To remedy that I designated a day of the week strictly for Seiko wrist time. On duty today is the SKX007. Cheers!

That watch was the first one that i ever purchased, almost 3 years ago. I have purchased 25 more since then. The "Chandler" was the impetus of things to come. Crazy thing is, i didn't realize it was known as the "Chandler" until a couple of years after owning it. My last name happens to be Chandler. That was a weird coincidence...or was it?

I am seriously thinking of pulling the trigger and adding one to my collection. I  have been consuming reviews lately and can’t find a reason not to buy one. Do you have any negative aspects to share?

The first watch I ever purchased was a Citizen field watch, all the way back in 2019. Since then I’ve been hooked. Shortly after I bought my first automatic piece, the Seiko SNK809. That was shortly followed up by the watch that solidified my collection, the Seiko SKX007J. Funny thing, after trying many different straps for the SKX, I finally settled in to one in particular...A black sail cloth with orange stitching. This whole time I was thinking that I’m the only one with this combination. Great minds think alike, or so they say.

Watches are made to track time. These watches do just that. There’s nothing frilly or extraneous in them. True simplicity. In life or death conflicts the last thing one needs or wants is to be distracted by superfluous complications and artistry. That’s what love about them.

Nice piece! Owning a GS is one of my long term goals. Maybe one day!

Same here. I can’t stop wearing this damn thing. Most of my watches are bigger with 20mm or 22mm lug widths. So my strap selection is limited, but I’m getting used it. I’m actually enjoying it.
