I'm no engineer but I do work in a field where there is sometimes strong magnetic fields that can and has disrupted my watches time keeping abilities....
I had watch gang for about a year and a half. I have 2 watches I kept, a Citizen titanium and an Orient star fish, and only one other watch I wish I would not have let go in a trade. I sold all of the rest for less than the $30 price tag for the cheap level and less than $50 for the black level (about 4 watches). They were mostly the cheapest bulk purchase watches they could get. On 2 of them the batteries were dead before I could sell them off. I wish I would have saved that 1k I spent there and bought an Oris or Seiko when the prices were lower and I had the money to spend more freely. That watch wheel was shifty too

Yes.
I met a gentleman at church and noticed the Omega symbol on his watch bracelet. When the service was over I got his attention and asked to see his watch. It turned out to be the 50th anniversary Apollo 11 Speedy. He was so excited to tell me about how it was his last gift from his wife before she died and how she had to search so hard to find it in the US. It was pride for him. Here is where your comment relates, when I talked about other Omega's like the Railmaster he was lost and just agreed it would be a good buy. He loved what he had and knew it was great but knew nothing else.
This is the watch that has been in my collection the longest. On this day it was on the shark mesh bracelet while I was grilling some ribs.
