Mission to the Moon

Loved it till I handled the Mars one on a Swatch store. The disappointment was huge, especially in regards to the strap. I see yours is on an aftermarket strap, so probably there’s still a chance for redemption for the MoonSwatch.

I gave up on the watch. I tried to buy one in Osaka JP and it was sold out. At this point I think they are holding the watch to store only to justify physical space and staff. Which to their credit it worked out.

Every negative thing people can say about the Watch is true come to find out and I still wanted one lol it’s a fun toy to add in your collection in my opinion. But if that doesn’t move you I get it.

Good fun, good marketing; i really like the dial -- but in combination with that plastic case and knobs....😬

Swatch = plastic and that's fine, but in this case it's like putting on a fine Corneliani suit and then wear sneakers and white socks with it...

It's a fun watch to wear and I've had no issues at all (Pluto and Venus in our household).

I have a Jupiter that I enjoy wearing quite a bit.

@Deeperblue mentioned the idea of a FU watch in the last Bites colum, and now that I've been made aware of the concept, I think the MoonSwatch is a bit of a watch community FU watch. I know I like posting mine on Speedy Tuesdays, just for the salty comments it sometimes gets 😁

I never wear mine. But glad I have one in my collection. Its significance can't be ignored. Out of interest, what QC issues have you experienced? I've seen one single report of a pusher falling off. But haven't been looking too hard.

I like mine a lot. I’m glad I don’t have any issues with it. It sucks that some folks have them breaking and others can’t get them but I like mine and I think the designs look great. Here we are more than a year later still debating this watch. That says it all.

Sometimes I wonder how can these people on Swatch pat themselves on the back and think that this is overall excellent idea with the poor quality. Went to the swatch store tried it on… very sad and disappointing.
