I work with furniture all day, hammers-saw-sanders-and lots of moving. My newest beat buddy is the Marathon Navigator, lightweight and mill spec polymer (fancy for police tested plastic🤭) if it bumps the furniture is not scratched (and moi not screwed) so I know I have to take it off.

With working in the garden, going out and such… I use my oldest vintage Seiko s who are scratched anyway.

I like patina and good stories, although both hurt-When your favo diver is dented. Since I rarely sell (hoarder), I don’t care much, it is a tool. … and sometimes with a story

For sports I had an 🍏⌚️, but fed up with the updates and 💩 (lazy old fart) so it’s getting vintage in my drawer 😂

QC is a serious problem with Seiko, and I’m a fan. But honestly they have some issues be it bad alignment of innerbezels, chapter rings or hands. And the bad quality of bracelet’s, though the newer more expensive ones are okay ✅. It comes and goes with those issues.

I don’t know about Citizen or others in the same affordable range?
