Unfortunately i have not tried on a speedmaster so i couldnt do a one to one comparison
I was a seikoholic because they have affordable good looking pieces, but i have since actively diversified my collection and forcefully avoid buying another seiko in favor of different brands. My goal now is to fill my box with icons/popular watches from each brand's catalog- as long as they cater to my taste and budget of course.

Thickness is not bothersome. I think it is 14mm on the spec sheet but it wears fine on my 7 inch wrist. It also slips ok under a cuff. In 2 days time it will be his turn on rotation i'll take side shots for you. ☺️
