62MAS homage/tribute/variant build
The #seiko #62mas was released on July 1965 and has seen many design variants over its history. Always wanted to own one, but there was always one thing or another in their designs that prevented that. So I did what any sane person would do and built my own "perfect" variant/homage/tribute. I saved a web page, tokiemedic. There is a what he or she calls a Seiko vintage mod. Try and find it because it really is nice. A 62 mas build with a blue strap and a 60s white dial out of a seiko 5 of that era. Duane........Black Diamond, WA. 98010

I have a thing for brown dials, pity not many companies product watches with brown dials

But seriously, I think buying lumed parts, be it bezels, hands, dials, is sometimes a gamble. I have bought lumed parts that hardly last a minute... I guess I was lucky this time round.

I don't know if your interested but ill tell you how to look up that watch. Go to the tokiemedic site. In the magnifying glass or search, type in the word vintage.The top watch in the drop down is the one. It is a good example of modern or retro with genuine old dial.
