After previous comments I’ve made about being fair to fashion brands I don’t want to come of as a hater but come on they’ve both just taken the most boring generic watch they could find and put their stamp on it. What’s the difference between them?

The funny part to me is that I struggle with really well made but simple watches. There’s part of me that will spend $5k on a watch, but when I see that plain white dial covering a nice movement I always pause. I get that a great but simple dial takes work, but it’s just hard for me to appreciate. This, honestly, is my issue with IWC. They make quality stuff, but it doesn’t look much different than much much cheaper watches. To be fair, I haven’t actually handled an IWC, but from the pictures I just have a hard time understanding the price.
So, to recap, DW is crap.
