Last night I met Nathan Trafford, owner and designer at Austin’s Trafford Watches. They are one of now several Austin Microbrands. I fell in love with this one and ordered it immediately. The dial coloring is even better in person. Check them out!

Nathan told me last night that shipping should begin in 2 to 3 weeks, so it should be pretty quick. I saw the Mockingbird last night as well, and it is absolutely beautiful in person. I really loved the Bluebonnet too. All of them were so much better in person. I think you'll be really happy with it!

Thanks, that’s a relief - on both counts! There weren’t that many reviews available when I ordered in January, so it felt like a bit of a gamble.

I'm not sure if you got the automatic or meca-quartz, but either way, you'll also be surprised by how thin they are. They feel great on the wrist. As I said, I was so impressed I ordered it immediately. I like supporting local companies but wouldn't have done that if I wasn't happy with the product.
Totally unique, especially given the shape, but I discovered that I really miss a date window when it's not there.
I've had my eye on the mockingbird for awhile. Bit different, but then again so is Austin.
I'm loving that dial. And there aren't enough good square watches.
Beautiful. I love reactangular watches with soft lines and rounded corners.

Not heard of these - really nice looking watch, good to see a micro doing something other than a diver, & this is certainly very different. I'll keep an eye on these. Thank you for bringing them to our attention 😍👍
