New Doxa Army Today!

The big brown truck of happiness just arrived! This is the Doxa Army 785.10.031G.10 Green on the beads of rice bracelet. My initial impressions are certainly positive.

The watch is comfortable with the cushion case and short lug to lug. Fitting the bracelet was a dream with the supplied half-links and the on the fly, quick adjust clasp should allow for any conditions.

The hands are incredibly legible and the bezel is very tactile. My only minute quibble would be the green bezel is black in a lot of lighting, just a little more green would be great. I also would rather not have a date function and I would absolutely prefer drilled lugs but I was aware of both of those going in. So far, I would highly recommend this watch.

Love the orange! I was actually back and forth between the orange 300 and the Army but the slightly thinner case pushed me to the Army.

When I got this, they did not offer many variations! That army is very sharp and has some history! Enjoy.

Nice watch, the date is well done and barely noticeable, I like it! Congrats and enjoy!

Love the dial and headset. Sweet watch.

Congrats!! Been thinking about grabbing one of these but undecided between the 300 or 300T Professional which would be the truest form or the Army reissue but with the black bezel. I feel I only want one Doxa but I don't currently have an orange dial but the "Army" speaks to my prior service...LOL....what to do??

The Army dial design is super unique. One from 1969 below (most of the oil dipped black coating is long gone).

The OG Army was in a 300 (no T) case.

This watch is on my shortlist. I thought it was a black bezel model so I understand your complaint. I just think the look is fantastic, it has a workhouse movement and the short L2L measurement should make it really comfortable to wear. I can’t decide between the BoR bracelet or rubber strap.

Just wouldn’t seem like a Doxa without a Bead’s of Rice.
