I‘m from northern Germany and live in Switzerland close to Zurich. Professionally much traveling. The children are grown and we enjoy the free Time with travel and activities in the region.

What a beauty 😍 Jens! When I grew up in Italy my Zio Andrea had a Citroën. The car could actually rise up and down (not sure why it was a thing in the late 70's). That being said the car had beautiful lines.

Driving up and down is the hydropneumatic chassis developed by Citroen. It was even built under license by Mercedes and Rolls Royce.
The driving behavior is fantastic. I had 3 of this type and sold the last one when I moved to Switzerland.

I learned of Union by accidentally encountering Ransel Classics in Rheingau hills. I was touring on bicycle and just saw a big inflated gates with Union logo in "the middle of nowhere". Upon getting closer - there was a big parking lot full of classic cars.
After some research seems Union is sponsoring lots of classic car events in Germany and most of their limited editions are themed in this fashion. Their LE Chronographs are very beautiful (including yours). My next watch will likely be below Belisar, but need to try as they tend to wear big

Yes, the Union is rather large in diameter. Mine is a limited edition from the Sachsen Classic 2017. Every year Union releases limited editions for vintage car rallies in Germany.
I was immediately impressed by the design with British racing gren and rally stripes plus a Cordoba leather strap.
