NWA 1 of 44 Squale MFO
1 of 44 and 1 of 19 in the free market.
After not buying a watch for a long time, I bought two this week. In addition to the Tudor Prince Date Chrono, I now had the opportunity to buy one of these 19 Squale MFOs. I couldn't help myself and spontaneously struck. She will look very good next to my Comsubin. With this limitation, I almost don't want to wear this watch at all.
The MFO - Multinational Force Observers - was created following the Camp David Accords of September 17, 1978 between the United States, Egypt and Israel. It was also confirmed by the 1979 Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty, in which Israel agreed to return the Sinai Peninsula occupied during the 1967 Six-Day War to Egypt. The agreement recognized the Gulf of Aqaba and the Strait of Tiran as international waterways ensuring freedom of navigation. In 1981, the Protocol to the Peace Treaty was signed and the Organization of Multinational Forces and Observers was established.
This international military organization has been stationed in the Sinai Peninsula since April 1982. Since then, eleven other countries have joined this mission: Australia, Canada, Colombia, Fiji, Italy, France, New Zealand, Norway, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Uruguay and the USA.
In 2022, the MFO commissioned Squale to produce a limited edition of 44 watches to celebrate the organization's 40th anniversary. Twenty-five of these watches were delivered to the organization in 2023, with the remainder available for purchase this year. The MASTER MFO model is based on Squale's iconic Master case, which differs only in the placement of the crown at three o'clock. It is waterproof up to 120 atmospheres and features a helium valve and a ceramic bezel.
I‘m from northern Germany and live in Switzerland close to Zurich. Professionally much traveling. The children are grown and we enjoy the free Time with travel and activities in the region.

Great watch! The master dial is my absolute favourite Squale dial. I have 2 questions:
1- do you know why the crown is at 3 and not at 4 like in other masters?
2-is the thickness the same as other masters? In some pictures it looks a lot thinner
