In preparation for the incoming Actus SS from the Gasworks Donkey Sanctuary (yes… I did buy a Seiko, and no, I don’t know what the fuck is happening to me), I’ve been wearing the OG Gasworks Citizen Eagle 7. The glass, and the custom 12 o’clock index, is the reason this watch goes from meh to a-meh-zing. This watch is just ridiculously polished. It’s just 80s baller vibes. It’s The Sweeney, The Professionals, and pints at lunch followed by a car chase and a fist fight on an industrial estate. It’s Greed is Good and knocking bankers teeth out in a wine bar in Shoreditch on the lash with the boys. It’s a black cab driver with a side hustle off Walthamstow Market. Penthouse and Pavement.
