I have the 40mm grey dial “The Chief”, and it hold down its niche in my collection; I certainly don’t wear it often enough - it’s rainy season in Singapore and 1ATM is not one to risk water ingresses.
This is a brand I started to follow some time ago. Thought at the beginning it was a micro brand and that they were a little bit less expensive. This particular watch is aesome: lots of #glycine ADN and gorgeous looks so eventually I will get one Airman in 40 too 👏👏👏👏
Cool. Ordered one last just. Went for the gray though. Not as historically “authentic” as black, but at 40mm with sapphire it’s not a Vietnam replica anyway. I already have 3 watches with black dials. Thanks for sharing the photo!

You’ll love it. Congratulations 🥳Grey (like silver) is arguably a more versatile colour with clothes.

36mm for vintage aesthetic would be my preference, but 40mm for a aviation watch makes sense for legibility.
I have a 44mm (not a Chief) but would like to see what a 40 looks like on my wrist.
Yea 44 it pushing it for my wrist😆
Had a 40, liked it but it didn't stay because I'm too stupid to instinctively read a 24 hour dial 🙄😂

Agree I like the 36 as a daily wearer more😎
Woah, very cool watch! Never seen it before
I have a 40mm Airman No. 1 because when they were launched through Drop the only 36mm was the purist and I was a bit apprehensive about it.
I make 42mm watches look like 38s on other people so I’d probably have to go with the 40.

I could see that!

I tend to like the purist in the 40 otherwise it feels like too much dial space for me!

Just have to get used to it😁

My Airman Worldtimer is a 46mm beast

I think 36 would be my choice. But I find all the 24hr Airmen very interesting. 24hr watches in general
I have both as well!😁👍🏼
40mm for sure
40mm for me
40mm for sure
Which model # is that? Curious if they call that dial color black or gray. I really like how it shows in this photo.
