I began the watch fascination in the 1960’s. I am a big fan of Seiko and Orient watches...I'm not a fan of the watch brand snobbery of the Swiss brands even though I own a Rolex and a Doxa, I just like those particular watches and they happen to be Swiss, not because they are Swiss. I think the micro brand evolution has shaken the watch world up for the better, it shames the so called mid range watch brands up for what they are, overpriced and overhyped, and lastly when I die I hope my wife doesn't sell my watches for what I told her they cost. Gulp.
