Agreed. Wish it was brushed all over. Perhaps some rainy day I’ll take some scotchbrite to it and see if I can dull it down. Bezel coin finish can look plasticky it the right light angle.

Wives at times don’t understand or “get” watches. Mine for example hates divers because they are too shiny and bulky. She also judges them quite a lot by their straps or bracelets.

I wonder how'd she feel if you gave the similar comments about her bags, shoes, and jewelry? Hehe...

I do tell her what I think of her stuff. The good news is that we both get what we want and don’t mind too much the feedback.

I saw lots of videos about the Duro, and I like Casio, so I figured it would be right up my alley. So I went to Walmart to see one in person. And I agree with your wife. I thought it looked and felt shiny and cheap. Not only is this the first time I've agreed with your wife, who I don't know, it's the first time I've agreed with any woman about anything.

I didn't know what I thought about the Invictaskull at first, but I've seen it so many times now I'm starting to like it. Of course, this is because solidyetti manages to work it in to almost every post now. And good for him.

I've seen somebody here (casiodean maybe?) that has an Invicta that looks like a lion's head, so maybe Invicta does in fact make an Owl Watch, the perfect gift for a toddler.
