Rolex Submariner VS Rolex Yachmaster
I am looking to get my next watch and debating between a Rolex Submariner vs Yachmaster.
Which one do you prefer and why? I feel like both looks about the same, but I kinda like the idea the bezel of yachmaster is made of platinum. Which adds a nice feel to as it has a precious metal , but isn't over the top like Diamonds and Gold. Also I like that the Rolex Yachmaster is 40mm, which I feel is like the perfect size for my wrist.

The problem with the Yachmaster's bezel is that the bezel can trap dust, dirt and other debris (and more of it) far more easily than the comparatively flat bezel of the Sub.

Oh I didnt know that, the bezel looks the same to me as the Submariner.
I just heard the bezel can rotate both sides on yachmaster
The bezel on the Yachtmaster has a recessed field and raised numbers, as opposed to the Submariner, where the field is raised and the numbers are recessed.
Sat with a guy at a work dinner the other day who was wearing a YM. Something about it just didn't work for me.

The YM blue dial is soooo nice, this was a easy pick for me. I would be concerned with the bezel though, it'll scratch pretty easily.

Buy a Max Wilsdorf ChronoPen. They changed their name recently to AIS Collective. But it’s still the same ChronoPen cleaning product. It’s basically a soft brush head with extra fine bristles, ideal to access even difficult areas of case, bracelet and bezel. I wash my Yacht-Master 37 with it all the time and it’s marvelous. A clean watch really shines over one with fingerprints all over it. I hope you find this useful! This is how my watch looks normally because I clean it regularly with the ChronoPen.

I got a call from my AD for a Yacht-Master 40 in Everose on OysterFlex. I had to pull the trigger. It’s one of my favorite watches.
I want the Titanium no date watch yacht master that is unobtanium lol
