Rolex Explorer II with brown alligator strap. What do you guys think? Does it look good or should I stick with the regular metal strap or a different one?
I think it looks nice. I don't see any reason to refrain from putting it on other types of straps if that's what you like. I LOVE Rolex bracelets, so mine stay on those, but the way you have it looks nice too.

I’m not a fan of the explorer ii braclet because it doesn’t hVe a micro adjustment. When it gets hot my wrist swell. So it’s either too tight or too loose

Luckily it seems to work perfect for me. Mine has a bit of a micro-adjust...5mm worth...
With Rolex, it has always been all about the bracelet. There are some vintage Rolex watches that look good on a strap, but I think a good bracelet that isn't stretched just makes the watch.

Trouble with order bracelet's is no adjustment,so when I get hot it really starts to get tight unless I take an adjustment tool and move along a few holes

I know what you mean. I keep most all of my bracelets adjusted so that my index finger can easily fit between the buckle and the underside of my wrist. This really helps with skipping the swollen wrist adjustment.

I was going to say “not good”, but your pic convinced me otherwise. Looks great!
Not a fan I'm afraid,I put my sea dweller on a rubber strap
I think the croc strap clashes too much with the toolish nature of the Explorer 2 but YMMV. Just one man's opinion.

Sucks it doesn't for you.
My first real thought that crossed my mind: “Damn, that works”.
Bracelet always but rubber works also.

I’ve never seen an alligator strap that I like, so I‘m a bit biased. That said, if you like it, thats all that matters
The strap looks good. Why waste it on a Rolex?
That’s a sharp looking strap! I never considered that on a Rolex.
Colour of strap looks great with watch, texture not so much. Something similar in distressed leather would look better to me.

Probably have to do that with some of the straps
I like it!
