In addition to watches and comics, have acquired way too many items from Sideshow, be it Hot Toys or 1/4 scale. Here is Bane with a G-Shock, because of course.

Speaking of, I’ve always thought that Bane was heavily modeled on (if not a borderline ripoff of) the Mutant Leader from The Dark Knight Returns.
Yeah, he is not my fave and like many other villains created at the time, all sort of derivative. I just loved the artwork of this particular statue.
Oh definitely; the craftsmanship on that one is crazy good, and I’d proudly put it up in my house. Have you seen the new line of Batman figures McFarlane is putting out this week? I preordered the Batman and Robin ones (of course, as they’re the Frank Miller versions), but the whole line is fantastic.

They are great, but I have cut myself off! The only figures I buy, if I buy any, are Hot Toys. I like the 12" scale for figures and Hot Toys does an amazing job with details and largely hiding seams. I had to pick a lane at some point as I had too many 3.75s, 6", etc. Collecting soon felt like hoarding, so I paired down to a theme. :-) Now it is what to display? Marvel, DC, Star Wars? Never enough space.

I’m pretty much at the cutoff spot myself. These days, the stuff I buy is meant only to decorate my desks - one at home and one at work. I have precious little space left at this point, so as of now I have to get rid of one thing if I want to get something new.

Not that I don’t love Bane.

Yeah mine too. It's part of a dvd boxed set that came out back in 2007 I think. (Final cut)
Here is some more of my BR collectables...
Nice! I have that 5-disc set, but mine didn’t come with the unicorn. 😢

Aww too bad. I think you can still find the metal tin edition with all the goodies pretty cheap. My one is the grey briefcase set.
Aww, man. I'm not at home.
