Once again, my own collection strategy remains a mystery, even to me, but I’m clearly swayed by opportunity.
I’ve been aware of Glycine for some time but @Max recent video video made me aware of random discounts available on this particular model.
My fabulous Scurfa Treasure Seeker fills my primary need for a dive watch. However, I got one with a beautiful orange dial. As much as I love it, I have wondered about something with a more conventional dial color.
When a significant discount appeared on Ashford, along with a additional checkout discount code, apparently, my criteria was met.

Look for the GL0083 on Ashford. Then patiently watch the price. They tweak prices constantly (but most for this reference.) I watched for about a week and may have just been lucky. It went under $300 and then there was a 10% checkout discount code. Now, it’s back above $320 and no code. 🤷🏼♂️
Of course, this may not be the reference you prefer but it does seem to be the one they discount most.
It has 22mm lug spacing, same as my Seikos and Spinnaker. I’m sure I’ll try straps all around! 👍🏻

They change there look so much with the various straps. Fun to rotate them.

If you get them on the right deal they absolutely cannot be beaten, nothing even comes close.
This one's on my list but I just got the rangemaster mechanical and a casioak so I'm trying not to piss my wife off. She knows my watch box has 7 slots left but I need to slow down lol.
