Seiko GMT SSK. It’s well under 1k, but fits your description.

Automatic diver gmt under $1000 is quite slim and also very niche now. Most brands end up putting a 24-hour bezel on divers.

Mido Oceanstar GMT comes in around $1100 but you can find it under $1000 after discounts.

Quartz options can be easier to find.

Seiko Sumo Solar GMT got released a couple of months back.
