I voted for the Weiss only because it looks slimmer and will probably fit under a coat sleeve easier.

Yeah, the Marathon is a chunky one, but only 1mm difference. I love that they are both tough watches and should handle anything. I've been going back and forth between which one to wear. I might just let the people decide!😎

Here’s a side by side view

Considering the crime rate there, whatever you are least disturbed to have ripped off your wrist.

I’m selecting one of these two since very few people outside and even inside of the watch world have ever heard of these brands

Yeah, I guess it does catch the eye a bit. The white dial of the Marathon is quite the opposite. Maybe I’ll save the Weiss for summer weather.

It’s pretty crazy though. I was in London in October and I’ve never seen so many luxury watches in the week I was there. A bunch of Subs,GMTs, and I even noticed a couple wearing a Daytona oysterlex and the lady with Hublot, Richard Mill, etc. I’ve never spotted so many luxury watches, and I mean in the Subway, streets, everywhere. I wonder if the high crime exists because there’s so many people wearing them. For all I know they can be fakes.crazy. I was just wearing a Seiko Turtle

Never been, just going to do the typical touristy stuff. It’s definitely going to be long sleeve/jacket weather. It’s just crazy the reputation Paris has with watch theft. I wonder if most selected the Marathon because It’s less flashy/safer or because it’s liked more.

Less flash, we went during the unrest a few years ago, it was amazing and we had no problems. I hope you have a blast!! We drank so much street coffee, food, catacombs all excellent.

I do have to say, I do see the concern with luxury watches here. Paris is by far the sketchiest place I’ve been to. Last year I went to London last year and saw Rolex, Richard Mille, etc. here I noticed a bunch of fashion watches and Casio F91s. The only luxury watches I saw here was 1 Cartier and a few Seikos
