Sometimes you do these things too?
Well I thought about getting this one on my recent post...
So here it is. Yesterday I received my Casio Duro Marlin MDV-106B-2AVCF to be precise.
I knew it would not be a smart decision because I surely overpayed on this one BUT I wanted it really bad so I took the rare chance. This watch has never been officially sold here in Germany, I don't even know if the Marlins released in Europe at all.
Therefore these were sold at about 80-100 EUR when they were still available. Since the 106 series has been dismissed the Marlins got a quite rare appearance here, it seems.
I found a new one for sale at 115 EUR - as I said I know I overpayed but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do - so I took the chance and now I'm welcoming this watch in my collection - don't blame me 😬

Nice watch, really like the blue dial! Yes, I have done this, too. I REALLY like the Timex Expedition Scout chronographs, but the designs I wanted were no longer in production. I found them on eBay for only a little less than original price but HAD to get them. I don't regret it, though, they're great watches! If I see something I REALLY like, I have found that it is best just to go ahead and get it even if it seems a bit illogical to do so (i.e. price), otherwise I will end up buying 2-3 watches I don't really want, while avoiding the one I DO want, only to end up buying the original watch anyway!! So, good job, and congratulations on your new watch! Wear it well!😀

found a seller on eBay who had this one for sale - was the only German seller I could find, it came new with the box, good luck on your search!

Even though some people dislike the strap it comes with I think it wears really comfortable. It's quite chunky overall but I knew that beforehand. So far, Day 2, I love it 😊

I am from Denmark and I have bought two Marlins, the pepsi version and the black and gold. Both brand new and I bought them on amazon.de :-)
Yeah I found this offer too, shipped from the US, which means shipping Fee and Regulations, would make it even more expensive to get for me.
