NEW FEATURE: Starred Posts !

We've heard your feedback and are introducing "Starred Posts". If you see a post you wanna save and come back to, simply:

  1. Click on the star icon at the bottom in the "sticky nav" when inside a thread.

2. To view your saved posts, use the navigation options at the top of the feed.

Hopefully this will give you a "curated option" with posts that you wanna stay abreast on.

Enjoy and let us know what you like to see next!

That feature is freekin' awesome.  So many great references in posts on WatchCrunch and now I can quickly find them.

This was much needed! Thanks Max. Phone app next?

And Max.  What about a SALE/TRADE section too?   That would be highly appreciated.

It's on the table 🤔😉

Awesome! Could we could add a FAQs for stuff like:

  • User recommended favorite straps
  • User recommended micro brands (non homage) by budget
  • User recommended online shops
  • An “if you like this, but can only afford x, consider this” for top models.

I’d gladly help or partner to help with that!

Lastly, a silly shameless plug for a prompt that asks, “Are you sure you want to start the umpteenth thread on why Rolex ADs are bad?”  :-)

Points are well taken, we certainly will discuss your idea of a FAQ section!  On the other hand:

We take a pretty democratic approach to topics. Unlike a traditional forum, threads are not displayed chronologically, rather are sorted primarily engagement based.

So an unpopular topic that nobody responds to will naturally sink quickly, without need to "put a finger on the scale" 😉. However if people like to rediscuss a topic once a while, and it gets the crowd going, who are we to say "don't beat a dead horse"

That's how crunch is different than WUS for example. If a thread turns you off, the best thing to do is to ignore it.

More features in the works to make this place even more personalizable 👍

Absolutely, which is why we are here vs WUS.  I like to poke fun at all the anti-Rolex threads, but they make for easy, albeit repetitive threads. It makes for easy engagement which YouTube figured out long ago.
