One of my grail pieces, being a pilot myself this, i think, is a great way live history , aviation and space wise
This particular piece is from the 90s, i think post soviet era, and was the “civilan” version of the chronograph used by the soviet/russian pilots/cosmonauts
I would ld love to have it next to a 90s speedmaster
What are youre thougths about this piece??
🤔🤔🤔

Love it. Though I might be biased as I have a Poljot 3133 (took me years to find the right one) and a Sturmanskie 31659.

Wow !!! Those are great ! i think the standard issue for soviet pilots was the one without the rotating bezel right ?

Yes that's right, and it has the hacking function to stop seconds when setting time, pretty important if you're military etc
First of all, I think that is an amazing looking watch 😍 Second, I like that you spent the time searching for it's history. A lot of collectors go for shiny and expensive, while you found a rarer piece with a work day history. I love finding posts like this!
