Personally i dislike glancing at my phone at night or early morning to check the time, i really prefer to go classic for this
I present to you fellow crunchers , my vintage 60s swiss vantage alarm clock, with a smooth and silent 8 jewel mov. A date complication and a mecanical alarm (imposible to ignore ๐) oh and a 10 day power reserve !!!
This is the right stuff here ๐ฅ๐ซฃ๐
What do you think?

Very nice!
Iโm often woken up by the mechanical clatter of an ancient 1950s westclox. One of the ones built in Canada before the manufacturing moved.
My parents had several of these and they worked really well.
Aah I remember those. They folded away and used as travel clocks. Thanks for the memories
No lume,so if I wanted to know the time at night,I would wait for the church clock to sound. This was the 1960ies.
LOVE IT!! I remember those from my childhood! Now I want one! ๐ฎ
Very nice indeed, but I sleep wearing a watch (usually a Laco B-uhr because it has the best lume - yes, even better than my Seiko divers!!)
Awesome! Love the linen dial. I have also an old Junghans alarm clock from the 50s. It looks very nice and the alarm would certainly wake me up, but it looses 15 - 30 mins a day!! ๐ So it will just serve as a decorational piece.
