Morning fellow crunchers.
I'm ecstatic to say that I've pulled the trigger on a Serica
Shout out to WC members @robwei @TonyXXX for putting this excellent brand in my eyeline.
The vintage simplistic look with the tool watch vibe has won me over.
For those that are interested my first Serica is from the field watch range 4512. I look forward to posting some pictures and possibly a review from my perspective if the interest is there.
Have a great Sunday 💪

Congratulations! 👌 Which dial variant did you pick?
To enjoy the waiting time, have a picture 😁
Love all of watches by Serica. Just everything I'm looking in a watch!

Like you , the California dial. I was hell bent on the commando but I already have two other field www so mixing it up. Can't wait 😬

Agreed. The blue dial diver and the new GMT are winking hard ay my wallet. If the quality is good with the 4512 I will buy another

It's easier for me. I can potentially afford only one of those. No danger. 😂
Congrats!! Very nice!! Now I’m jealous.. 😩 I want One too…
Righton!! I learned about them from a @TonyXXX post😀

gone with the 4512 California dial. I have two www style fields already. I quite like the roman numerals. speaks to me
Excellent choice my friend, welcome to the Serica club, if there is such a thing 🤣
I'm going to say right of the bat that you won't be disappointed with your purchase, I'm so happy with mine I'm thinking of buying another, more updated version. Mine is a limited release from a couple of years ago, so it has the heslite crystal, but I love the look of it, very vintage inspired. I may just be lucky but mine runs at roughly +3 seconds a day and the power reserve sit's at around 40 hours, I really enjoy winding the watch every morning, it makes you connect with the watch more IMO.
It's now one of my fav's and gets a lot of wrist time because it's a strap monster. I didn't get the Bonklip bracelet with mine and thought to buy one, but because it has 20mm lug widths I'm in no rush. I purchased some really cool 2 piece leather straps from CNS, 5 for $50 usd so I've got heaps of choices.
I hope to see some great wrists shots of your new watch when it arrives. Here's some shots of mine on different styles of straps, excellent little watch 💯
Curved ends, hybrid rubber strap with a deployant clasp looks good with no gaps.
My Sinn 556 Fine-Link bracelet fits it perfectly, I don't know if it suits it that well, but I was amazed at how easy it was to install.
Blue works
Even orange looks okay IMO
