So you might be clicking this post and be thinking like it's one of those watch nerds, trying to promote a certain watch complication.... NO! It's not!
I've already graduated from that!
Coz lately, I've been struggling to find a new watch to wear and put it on #wruw ๐
Trust me! I've browsed countless wrist checks from my phone gallery....anything that I've had, currently owned or by grabbing a stranger's wrist with a watch on from the street and put it on my wrist! (That's one step too far, I agree but I might actually do it๐)
Arfffff and I'm like you, thinking that this is a walk in the park, to collect my ultimate 365 days badge like so. No, it's absolutely relentless and extremely difficult!!
So today, and thanks to #meistersinger for this beautiful onehand watch with moonphase, I came up with a brilliant idea๐ก
What you are witnessing is a cheat-code that I plan to do the next couple of days, heck it, even weeks if I need to put it on the #wruw daily. โ
Don't curse me for playing cheat-code this early on to those veterans out there. I'm sure this post will get flamed ๐๐ฅ
Have a great Friday and a nice weekend ahead,
my fellow crunchers ๐ ๐

I guess that I don't need one since I'm not a werewolf but if I was one then a moonphase complication would be a must have on a watch, and pretty much everywhere else.
Also, just got my 365 wristy badge, yay!

LOL. Well done and congrats for your 365 wristy badge!yabi yeh yeeha! ๐
Go outside after sunset and have a good idea how much natural light there will be. The modernists, who never go outside anyway, will say to look out a window. This proves they never do it, as ... looking out from a lit house to the outside... it will look dark, and there's likely artificial light in the immediate vicinity there anyway.
And while outside, should you wish to look for the moon, you'll know what shape for which to look.
I suspect it can also be used to track female menstrual and ovulation cycles, but I have not tried this.
Why do I need a moonphase watch?
For the same reason I buy my other watches.
The right one is a cool looking watch.
I wear a moonphase to remind me of my wife's menstruation cycle. She can be a hair trigger at the wrong time... and I'll have her right where I want her at the right time. ๐
No moonface in my collection yet unfortunately ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
Would be happy to add one, like the Glashuette PanoMaticLunar, or the Drive de Cartier moonface
It's a useless complication.
And I love it.

Oh, shit. I retract my previous post. There is a real world use for those who are not werewolves.
Mariners, surfers, and the like need to know the phase of the moon as this affects the tides/waves. Of course you can simply reference a chart or online index.

Hahaha you've narrated it very nicely. I guess a moonphase watch belongs to a tool watch category since it tracks and measures periodical cycles scientifically. ๐คช

Yeah, that's a good choice!
