Strap Help: Seiko STO Turtle

I really enjoy my Seiko Save the Ocean Turtle.  The dial!!  That deep, rich blue.  The bezel.  The case shape.  It's all so incredible.  My only problem - it's not gotten the wrist time it deserves because I have not found a strap that can keep up with the dial.  I've considered a mesh bracelet.  I've considered several NATOs, but can't decide on a color (go bold? keep basic?). Leather maybe (I know, I know...diver...)? I'm hoping the Seiko aficionado's out there can suggest a strap that will help bring this out of the watchbox more and get some much-needed wrist time.

Cheers friends!

I have the Samurai version with a very similar dial. I've alternated between the steel bracelet it came with and a navy blue nato strap. I've found that because of the blue dial, I only like navy blue straps on it. I almost put a blue goat leather strap on it, but after I ordered one, it didn't come in, so I had to get a refund.

A blue Zuludiver Seacroft waffle strap would look good. I had the black one on my SRP775 it’s really comfy as well.

I wouldnt go nato as it will get top heavy, try look up the original rubber strap from seiko for the dark manta, it will go well.

Otherwise i would opt for barton elite silicone

I am prototyping a blue firehose 2 piece strap to fit the new strap impossible Pelagos. I will post for some reluctant feedback. #firehosestraps

I'll definitely check them out!

You might think I'm crazy... but a white nato might look incredible.  Sure if you look at one wrong it gets dirty, but it might really let the dial sing, and the case for that matter!  I've had a few and they always look stunning on whatever they go on, particularly when color is involved.

Huh.  White.  I haven't considered that!  Ok...I like that idea, time to get a white NATO.  I'll let you know how it goes!  Thanks for the suggestion.  Cheers!

A maroon or deep red leather strap for those nights out. Do get the thick ones  that look like they'll take an eternity to break in! The thickness will match your turtle's heft.  It will be such a gorgeous juxtapose effect that it will definitely start a conversation hahaha

Try Barton Elite silicon straps - colourful and extremely comfortable.
