38mm Longines Conquest on wrist!

Yesterday i found out that Longines dropped the Conquest line in 38mm and today i instantly took my chance to try on both variants (41mm and 38mm)

I don't know why they look almost similar on the pictures but from the on wrist experience i can confirm the 38mm version wears significantly smaller but still more like a 39mm watch in my opinion :)

Looks good.

As for the pictures, there was a post about it a few days ago. It has to do with the camera on the cell phone being in wide angle. Makes the watches look bigger than they are.

Indeed, only noticing a slight difference in those pictures

yes, i can confirm it is actually smaller though 😅 i have a 38mm Islander Rangemaster and it feels smaller than the Conquest, so feels more like a 39mm to me

i know, usually people recommend zooming a bit in to give a more realistic look but the dealer was already looking at me like i'm some kind of show off tourist so i just made 2 quick shots 😅 didnt expect them to look that similar on the photos

Thanks for sharing! Do you happen to know if they'll release new dial colours with the 38mm release? Also, whats your wrist size?

so far i've only seen the 38mm version with the already existing colors but maybe in the future 🤔

my wrist size is ~17,7cm , im able to wear both sizes but the 38mm just feels better for that style of watch for me personally. the case style makes the 41mm watch look quite chunky, even chunkier than my Venezianico Nereide 42mm which i am wearing today

They both look great.

Looks good! I know it’s marketed towards women, but I’d almost be tempted by the 34mm given how well its “predecessor” (of sorts) wears at 35mm:

To my eye, they both wear too big for you.

·

Looks great, pictures up close with the phone make the watch look bigger on the wirst... someone gave a tip on how to do it on a way that doesn't happen, If someone have that post saved please share it 👍

like i saidy, the pictures dont do it justice

i can wear the 43,5mm Lunar Pilot without overhanging lugs 😅

·

The 38mm is a winner!

·

What a timepiece - pure beauty.

I'll go with the green dial, it's just spectacular 💚

·

Looks great. Subtly smaller but still has all of the bigger one's design characteristics

·

Great watch. Don’t know if I’m in the minority but love the brown sunburst dial of this!

·

Man, that’s a great looking watch! Either size would fit me. Probably the 41, since I have an 18cm wrist.

Yes, it is probably a minority choice but I like it a lot too.

Yes, I just had a second look and I think you’re right. I have 37mm to 42mm watches, so it isn’t a problem for me (meaning I’d probably prefer the 37).

The 38mm is the much better option. Thanks for sharing. Do you know if they have also the brown version in 38mm?

Also a beautiful one. I have to visit my AD I guess 😂 last time I tried the brown in 41mm for my 17.5cm wrist and told the AD why they are offering those big things that nobody will buy :) he was laughing but couldn‘t answer if Longines will launch any smaller size. This was 1 year ago and finally they did it!!

·

Great. I thought they had to bring out the smaller size.

·

Hopefully we’ll get a 36mm soon

·

Very nice. I keep looking at the green dial version.

·

The more I look at this, the less I like how it wears

·

38mm looks more suited to your wrist considering it's more of an everyday watch
