I have seen numerous posts about your favorite watch appearance in a movie, favorite Bon watch, etc. For example, one of my favorite movies has two watches worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger; The Running Man. In this scene, he is wearing a Seiko H558.
And later in the movie, he is wearing a Casio G Shock DW5500.
Two great watch appearances in one movie. What I am interested in is your least liked watch appearance i a movie. For example, I actually do not like what they did with the H558 screen in Commando, replacing it with this.
Another one I detest is in Project Powers.
Why would you cheap out and have a fake G Shock in the movie when a real one is only $50? Finally, while I can understand the reasoning, I still don't like that they replaced the Suunto screen in The Equalizer.
It is the same reason the dial was replaced in Commmando; more legibility. Anyway, what are some of the watch appearances that grind your gears? 😜
LúmëgaudAnar is the correct spelling, and means time machine of the sun in Quenya. I've been collecting for a few years and have a decent collection of mostly budget and entry-level watches with a few...

It's been a hot minute since wearing my Suunto Core, but I remember it looking like that. Did they just make it brighter?

It might not look lik e it in the picture, but the made the display bright blue instead of its usual color.

Ah so like the EL/lume/backlight was always on? 🤙🏻
I thought Schwartzneggers 558 in Commando was the standard Seiko model.
And the Fake G-Shock you show is really a bad homage branded S-Shock. Maybe Casio wasn't on board with product placement.

The H558 in Commando was a standard model except for close up shots where they replaced the dial with the hot mess in the banner picture.
Joseph Gordon Levitt wore a B650WD in the same movie as that S Shock. Casio couldn't have minded that much.

Yeah. Not as ridiculously bright as the two IWC watches in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, but still bright blue.
The AE-1000W in Mine (2016) has several close ups where the local/world time is set to Stockholm for some reason and the countdown timer is started at 52 hours which isn't even possible.
The only one that comes to mind is the Casio in Wonder Woman '84 worn by Chris Pine.
That watch didn't come out until 1995.
The F91W in Morbius. Not once does he check his wrist and go, "It's Morbin' time."!
