Which one do you prefer?

Hi to everyone I would like to ask you which watch do you like the most between these two (see pic) and if you want comment also your favourite vintage model that you own or you would like to own

Wow!  Those are both gorgeous!

  • I think I like the look of the Zenith more
  • However, if I had to choose one of the two watches to own, I would choose the Longines, precisely because of the weird 12 o'clock date window placement!
·

yes the date window is funny and I love the simmetry it gives to the watch

·

As presented, I would pick the Longines as I prefer a silver over a gold coloring.

Both are fantastic, however.

·

Clean lines no date for me so Zenith BUT that date is very interesting in its placement.

·

for those who are interested the reference number of the Longines is 7320

·

I usually steer towards Zenith BUT the Longines is so unique and clean

·

I prefer the Longines for its silver color and date. But I prefer the case shape of the Zenith.

I have the same thoughts love them both for the two reasons

·

I like the Longines!

·

Zenith, and it isn't close.

Your second question (which no one seems to answer) are a 1966 Omega Seamaster DeVille (forever at the watchmaker's) and this 1966 Mido Ocean Star:

I really like tank watches and I would love to acquire a Rolex tank watch from the 1930's.  It would fill several gaps that I have.  Pre-war Rolex wasn't the same juggernaut that it is today.  It was a nicer than average Swiss watch.

·

Zenith, because no date.

Interesting and very specific choices, I like your taste and thanks for the answer to the second question

·

Prefer the Zenith IMO

·

The Longines with the date at 12 is superb and it appears to be in better condition than the Zenith with a clean sunburst silver dial. Those date at 12 models are somewhat sought after since they are characteristic of 1960s Longines design.

·

I like different aspects of both, the lugs and crown of the Longines are better for me, but the dial and no date of the Zenith win me over.
