Laco: Super Interesting!

I am currently on vacation in Hong Kong and happened to pass buy a store in K11 that was selling this. I told them I would think about it but now I'm seriously considering it. He even offered a discount.

Any thoughts on Laco as a brand? I would love to get some opinions from you guys.

Laco is one of 5 brands that made fliegers for Germany during WW2, they will celebrate their 100 year anniversary next year & are much respected.

Search for Laco on WC and you'll find plenty of love for these watches ⌚️ ❤️

Here’s mine (in Weiss):

The rotor is a little noisy, but it’s an excellent quality watch. Mine arrived very well regulated, and continues to be one of my most accurate.

I'm sure @rodeenski will have some good feedback for you re. Laco. ;)

That’s £2k+ isn’t that expensive for a Laco, some of you guys will know!

That was my thought as well. I have always thought that way regarding their models but seeing them in person for the first time is making me second guess just a bit lol

I really want the Frankfurt, I've just not got round to buying (read: prioritising) it yet.

German watches are underrated. Have the same Laco Kiel.2 in Schwarz and have been wearing it almost everyday for months instead of my swiss timpieces. Great quality, scratch resistant and good accuracy. Awesome lume and legibility too. Here are my Lacos. Love the brand. Been going for more underrated brands these days. Just can’t justify the mark up in luxury brands any more.

Well seems I’m wrong it’s a comparable with prices here in Europe went to Laco website so depending on discount and how much you want it, it’s a go for!

This is the Laco that I regret not pulling the trigger on. I think of this one often.

It depends on the movement. They have in-house engines which would be more expensive. But they also use Miyota movements which would be the lesser price.

Nice!!

In-house movement will be more expensive than they're more common Miyota-powered models. 😁

I own a Laco Ulm since Friday and I'm really stoked. I visited Laco in Germany (it's located 100km away from my Hometown) two times this Year and the watches are absolutely great. For this Price - the Laco Kiel 2 is a steal
