IWC Spitfire on a Mark XVIII Bracelet

I inherited this IWC Spitfire in a trade. It had the original worn green Nato strap. Unlike other ADs, mine was willing to try this combination. They had both a two-tone and a fully polished Mark/Mark-style bracelet that fit. It turned a watch I wasn't crazy about into something I enjoy and a piece I've received more compliments on in the first two months of ownership than any other I own.

Did they give you the strap as well? 😉

·

Yes, so it came with the strap. I bought the bracelet from my local IWC branch.

Will do. The bracelet was more expensive, but knowing it's one of their lower-priced models, it evened out. Right around $1200 for the bracelet quality/unmatched micro-adjustment you see with the pilot chronographs. It makes Tudor's T-fit feel like a toy.

Looks great! I’d love someday to see if older IWC bracelets fit my Mark XX or spitfire chrono. They’re gorgeous but I just can’t justify the price of their latest bracelets.

Yes it might have hurt but it was worth the pain it looks amazing 👍

Looks fantastic!

The Spitfire is such a good looking watch. Enjoy.

Whenever I meet anyone with a IWC pilot I know they balls.

That mark 18 bracelet is absolutely amazing. The all brushed finished, rock solid build and the quick adjust. It’s honestly the best bracelet in that price category and it’s not even close.

Would you be so kind and give the bracelet Reference numer? I’ve been searching quite some time for someone to confirm the reference to order the bracelet - my AD states none are compatible - which is clearly untrue 🤪
