Casio G-Shock Hodinkee Ben Clymer 5600 Unboxing
I picked this up as I like the colours and I feel a connection to the cities on the dial.
Recorded a quick unboxing (with apologies for the black thing covering a bit of the camera aperture.)

I haven’t bought any of the other John Mayer collabs. Interested to know what people think of this one.

I had to do a doubletake when I was told that it wasn't a world timer and that the listing of the cities was a "stylistic" feature. Attractive colorway nonetheless.

Yeah would have made more sense with world timer features - but like I say - the specific cities chosen resonate with me (I can imagine they wont with 99% of people!)
Not for me this one sadly. But most gshock collabs are pretty lacklustre to me
The Henry Graves quote Esse Quam Videri on the back, which translates as “To be, rather than to seem” would appear to be wrong on this movement, the watch 'seems' to have a world time capability with the nod to the cities on the face but with this movement it's not to 'be'. A few more quid on the movement with a world-time capability would have made more sense to me.

I do like the colors, but the cities in the face of the watch with no functionality associated to them just kill it for me. They don’t even explain what’s the point of them in the item description and back story? And what about the Casio/Casio? I really don’t understand many of the choices made for this design.

This is the other one I’d go for (actually all but the yellow are ok - which is a shame as Ed Sheeran seems like a nice chap and love his collection.) love the colours of this one but not sure about the style for my small wrist - I do like a square. Looks great on you though.
