By getting rid of one of the cheapest watches in my collection, I guess I spoilt myself a little. I had my eyes on the sarb033 for some time but I just couldn't buy it. The price hike made it quite expensive (for me) and my watch collection was already at full capacity. But I never was a big fan of bracelets and I have always stuck to straps. Seeing a sarb033 with a bracelet made me realise that maybe I should give the bracelet a chance.
I needed a good bracelet though, not the default Seiko one. Comfort comes first, and then it's aesthetics. Through the power of internet forums, I settled on the jubilee bracelet from Uncle Seiko. It does make the watch shine that much more. I never liked too much bling, but this watch also has an understated charm to it that I like. It's a pre-owned watch, but I'm not bother by the hairline scratches if the price is reasonable. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, and maybe I should also think about visiting WC more frequently again.

Congratulations ๐พ๐๐ in the new watch Josh!! Jubilee bracelet is my absolute favorite style of bracelet when it comes to comfort and esthetics for sure. Extra points for the matching color date wheel on this bad boy! Enjoy it in good health my friend.
That is an absolute classic. Congrats.
The sarb was killer deal, I loved mine, I put an strapcode bracelet on it and it was awesome
I can't remember exactly but I'm sure I paid about $350 dollars for it. Nothing like that nowadays
It sure does feel weird spending on an Uncle Seiko bracelet as much as some watches cost. However, they just elevate the watch and improve the wearing experience massively! That SARB033 sure has the bracelet it deserves now!
Here is a modern Sarb alternative around 400-500 $. 4hz movement, 100m WR, sapphire, great lume and has a certain bling to it. Unfortunately only JDM model
There are also Seiko quartz models with a SARB family resemblance.
