Another Anniversary Gift
I've been admiring the Aevig Thor for about a year now and may have casually mentioned it along the way. To my surprise I received one from my husband today for our 5th anniversary.
It features a linen dial, covered by a boxed sapphire crystal, Superluminova, and came with both Black Leather and a Gray Perlon straps. The watch is 40mm but the down-turned lugs help it sit neatly on my 6.25" wrist.
An exhibition back displays a 17 jewel Miyota 8N33 manual wind movement.
This watch far exceeds what I hoped it would be and I absolutely love it.

Not to diminish the rest of the handsome design, but that Perlon looks fantastic. Versatile shade of gray, funky thicker weave, and I'm not used to seeing the material as a two-piece. That last aspect helps elevate the formality level of an otherwise casual strap choice. Very cool package!

I’ve never worn or handled a perlon strap before and I have to say it’s surprisingly comfortable too!

Here you go. My wrist size is very small, just under 6.25 inches or 15.8 cm. For me it’s at the upper edge of what I feel I can reasonably wear. It feels smaller though and I wear it a lot
